Hammer union seals (also known as Weco Seals) are used for hammer joint type pipe connections to establish flow lines and prevent leakage. Hammer joints are manufactured by companies such as Weco, FMC and Kemper valve and are used in the oil and gas industry. Widely used in cementing, fracturing, acidizing, testing, and choke-and-kill lines.
