Flat gaskets from reinforced graphite according to DIN2690
High-quality sealing material made of flexible graphite reinforced with stainless steel tapered sheet meetal and, due to the purely mechanical connection, free of adhesives.
Application area
For use specially in steam and many other media, with the exception of strongly oxidizing acids. Due to its high temperature resistance, it is particularly suitable for high temperature applications as well as thermal and mechanical alternating loads.
Maximum continuous operating temperature:
-200°C bis +400°C
Maximum recommended operating pressure:
100 bar
These details are guide values that relate to a standard thickness of 2.0 mm and must not apear at the same time. The values must be modified depending on the thickness. In an inert atmosphere, graphite reinforced with stainless steel can also be used above 400°C. Advice on application is recommended for use in the event of load changes.
