RTJ Ring-joint gaskets

Ring joint gaskets are purely metallic seals with high dimensional accuracy and surface quality and are used in operating environments with highest pressures and extreme temperatures. Their finely machined surfaces are free of scratches or other recesses and guarantee an extremely high sealing effect.

Ring joint gaskets in accordance with API and ASME standards are mainly used in the petrochemical industry and in refineries as a reliable gasket for production pipelines. All rings are marked by stamping with the following information:

RTJ Ring-Joint Gaskets Type R-Oval

Ring-Joint Gasket with oval surface, original ring joint design. For use in standard flat bottomed groove flanges and older round bottomed groove flanges. Suitable for ASME B16.5 flange Class 150 to 2500 and API 6B to Class 5000

RTJ ring joint gasket type R-Octagonal

Ring joint gasket with octagonal surface, an improvement on the original oval design. For use in standard flat bottomed groove flanges. Suitable for use on ASME B16.5 flange Class 150 to 2500, ASME B16.47 Series A flanges and API 6B to Class 5000.

RTJ Ring-Joint Gaskets Type RX

Ring-Joint Gasket with complex bevelled edges, interchangeable with type R gaskets. Suitable for use on ASME B16.5, API 6B to Class 5000 and ASME B16.47 Series A flanges.

RTJ Ring-Joint Gaskets Type BX

Ring-Joint Gasket with bevelled edges, supplied with pressure relief holes to avoid compressing fluid beneath the gasket. Suitable for use on API 6BX flanges up to Class 20000.
